The California Peace Officers' Association was established in 1921 and serves the needs of professional law enforcement through issue exploration, resource development, educational opportunities, and legislative advocacy. CPOA has over 3,000 members of all ranks from municipal, county, state and federal law enforcement agencies from throughout the state of California. The California Peace Officers' Association is committed to developing progressive leadership for California law enforcement community. This will be accomplished by organizational networking, professional development, and public policy advocacy.
