About The Ashland Police Department

The Ashland Police Department is a full service law enforcement agency that provides 24 hour service to it's citizens. The department is currently staffed with 27 employees, that is organized into Patrol, Investigations, Civilian Support Staff, and volunteer Auxiliary Patrol Officers.

The department is located at 601 England Street, the main east-west corridor of the Town. Lobby hours are 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Monday - Friday.

The Ashland Police Department works in partnership with the Hanover County Sheriff's Office to provide quality police services to its residents and businesses. For further information, please contact us at (804) 798-1227.
