Son of David and Jane Hale Farber. Married to Colleen Marr, Dec 3, 1976 in Walthill NE. Mike was a Nebraska State Trooper, killed in in the line of duty.
Trooper Michael Farber was killed after intentionally being struck by a teenager fleeing other officers for stealing gas. The suspect drove the vehicle into the median of I-80, near Aurora, Nebraska, and struck Trooper Farber. Trooper Farber had been with the agency for two years.
