I'm still investigating and collecting information. Basically Danny Walker was a Sgt. on the Lake Charles P.D. when I worked there with him. He was a Top Shelf guy. Great man. After he retired from the Lake Charles Police Department in about the year 2000, he Worked for the Sheriffs Department, CPSO in Lake Charles as a Lieutenant. Danny passed away with Cancer after a painful battle in or about 2004.
He had retired from the LCPD, and was hired onto the CPSO with the new Sheriff. I believe Danny was a Lt. on the Sheriffs Department also served in many special areas on the Police Department including D.W.I. Task Force, Detectives, He was an FTO, and you didn't know a nicer guy, but he never passed up a chance to write a ticket. He probably wrote more cites than anyone I knew. He was a friend also. I'll never forget Danny.
